Now I've noticed that some of you guys that are restoreing 69 Camaros are completely stripping them down to nothing and in some cases very few peices will be used in the build up. Anyway I found this site with Yearone now selling brand new reproduction 69 Camaro bodies. All Buit to factory specs. This of course being a Camaro fan site, you may already know about this. But I just thought I would share this with you all anyway.

yea its made by dynocorn, bout 11k, the 67-68 coupes are out now as well, and soon the 69 coupe, all from dynocorn "made in china" , goodmark has some 69 verts being built over there also...in spending under 5k to get my shell up to snuff, plus with the stamped out body's, how are people going to tag and register them....re-vining a car is wrong and illegal...did you ever get pic's of ur 69? and how bad is the body?

i thought that the new 69s and such were getting all new vins along with them.

you can register them as kit cars, they might come with documentation, but i never heard of them coming with vins

they can be tagged, for about 80 bucks.."original gm rivits for the vins"..the reason i dont like that idea, is because, theres already so many scam artists, ripping people off with "fake " cars....re-stamping the block, re-stamping the trans/rear end, slapping vins off a unsalvageable 69 z28....and selling them to people for 80k......now it will be so much easier for the scammers to rip people off......i mean its one thing to have a rusted out plane jane like mine..i can buy a dynocorn boddy and slap my tags on it and be happy,....but the scammers will be making big money ripping people off.....

bringing these crate bodies into production is going to kill the market for legitimate GM cars. scammers are going to have a field day with this. and like you said VETTE pwr, alot of people are going to get ripped off big time. just wait, they'll start selling 70 hemi cuda conv. shells. and bring one of the rarest cars down in price. its going to be a domino effect.
