well, hear me out buddy, u basically have to jack the front of ur car up get under there and remove the splash guards under the front bumper which will give u acess to the lens and then its just a walk in the park....it is kinda a pain just for changing the lens though

naw u really cant cuz even if u took out the headlight assembly it wouldnt do u any good cuz the lens are way in the front of the shell of the front bumper and u cant access it cuz the headlights are pushed back, the only way is from underneath, its really not hard it takes bout a half hour maybe a lil more but its just unbolt and bolt

no, no, underneath the front "clip" theres panels on the bottom of the car or "splash guards" u just remove these which gives u access to the lens

well these "splash guards" on my car happen to be the front clip, I'm running into that problem with replaceing the grill with a billet one I cant get to the screws underneath because the whole front end wraps around the car.

There is no need to go at it from the bottom. Maybe on an LT1 it is easier to go from the bottom...but from the LS1's the top is the way to go.

Simply take out the headlights, then there should be about 3 bolts holding your corner signal in. Unbolt those and pull it out. I will tell you that my clear corners took about 15 minutes to install. They were a little harder going in then coming out.

See ya on the road,
Matt

i know!! thats why u get to the screws from behind the front end! and the only way to get to them is taking off the bottom panels.."splashguards"...its the only way, no one even told me how to do it, its common sense cuz its the only way to get to them

Don't know what ya'll are talking about here...but I would say don't even bother going from the bottom. Going from the top on the LS1's are a lot easier because once the headlight is out you have a lot of room to work with.

Plus it's less time than jacking up the car and then unbolting your splash shields.

See ya on the road,
Matt

Lol. Yes, he has an LS1, not an LT1. LS1's are always easier from the top. So yes, Matt is correct. Not saying you're wrong MIDNITE, since you can technically still do it from the bottom, but it's way faster from top for an LS1.
