what sesor is this?

ok behind the intake, at the back of the engine, there is a 3-4 inch tall black, cylinder type connector which clips to a harness. it sits on top of the motor. well its broke....what is it?

EGR? its on the back of lt1 intakes, not sure if its the same on ls1s.

on lt1 its an oil pressure sensor.. does it look like this?? this is off of shoebox site.

The EGR is on the front,in front of the passenger head....you have a 2000,you have the EGR....some didnt some did in 2000.

Sounds like the oil pressure sensor to me too. I just had to replace mine and it was around $25.
