rims?

wanting to get some rims in early summer, just maybe for my b-day, eaaarly june! so yea i have an '02 Z with the stock 16' rims on em...i'm wantin some rims to make my car look real cool. i was thinkin 17s in front and 18s in back. thinkin about gettin em fat so they stick out a lil bit, but not too much. any advice? i like the torque thrust IIs and the 10 spoke rims, ah man those are clean. i dunno if anyone has pics of some tight rims on a camaro so i can see what ANY rims will look on my car that would help! thanks guys! my car is in my sig so tell me what rims yall would put on it and size

I have a soft spot for my ZO6 rims. I think they look absolutely badass. They're big and mean. 8.5 x 17 up front with a 245 tire and in back I have a 10.5 x 18 rim with 315s. Check out my sig.

The z06 rims look good, but personally I love the stock ss rims. I also dont like when they stick out.

anybody got pics of camaros with freakin awesome rims on em that are reasonable for me to get...i'd really like to get some nice racin rims for my car. phantom, i looove your rims...but i don't think they'd look good on my car, i've only seen those rims look good on black cars. and you're car is freakin awesome, like they would look good on my sister's Z she has a black '98 Z..but its always dirty lol i'd like my rims to stick out a lil bit...fat tires and rims= more traction= better take off

Im a fan of the ZR1's, thats whyi got mine plus u can find great deals on them. Pretty much anything beyond ZO6's is gonna be pretty pricey. I got my original GM ZR1's shipped to my door with Eagle F1's up front and BFG dragradials out back. Bought them on Ls1.com.

I too like Z06's....No offense to anyone,I just prefer a single size on camaros,prefereblly 18's....I just think the staggered look doesnt "fit" our bodys like they do vettes that were designed for them.

For the most part tho,the nicest rims other than vette eims are like 4k!! iForged and the other ones I cant remember the name right now.

How about a set of used rims, I picked up my set of rims off ls1tech.com for 200+shipping and they are in great condition and really look great on the car IMHO. I'm sure if you watch some of the F-body forums out there long enough you can find some really nice rims for a good price. Here's a couple pics of them they're only 16's and there some no name brand (Cruisers??? lol) but hey they work when your a bum in college
