u guys do understand just because it was in an accident it doesnt mean the car should be that much cheaper in price.....if u had someone expect the car for any frame damage or what not...if it was legit i would pay 9k easy...but i understand where ya'll comin from because i know rebuilt titles are usually a lot cheaper..but wtvr

The thing with salvage titles is it does scare people and bluntly put...the resale is not that good on a salvage title, plain and simple. regardless of what damage you "know" was done (not knocking you at all)...it takes a lot of damage to salvage a car out, especially depending on when it was done (how new the car was). I remember I put my 98 Z28 onto a median at 90 mph...took off ALL the wheels and tires, the exhaust, factory ground effects and dented the drivers door and I still did not recieve a salvage title. I think to get a salvage you have to do 40% of the cars worth in damage? Someone can correct me on that because I am not positive, but I am pretty sure.
It is a very nice car though, but A 99 with 90,000 miles and a salvage title...if you want to sell it within a couple months...7 or 7.5 grand tops.

well all n all....u would get it sold quickly with more interested buyers if u sell it for round 8k or less but im just sayin u could prob get more $$$ dependin on what was replaced and how bad the accident was...

welll its not just the tittle...i mean how do you know that everything was fixed CORRECTLLy??? unless you do the work yourself how can you know it was done right??? thats the thing that scares people!! which is y if you wanna sale it you gotta have a price that puts the buyer at ease and that doenst make him think hes gonna regret making that INVESTMENT later. but dude it is a nice car and if it were a real SS then id consider it for 9 since it has the title. just my opinion

Yeh your right. Most people are gonna be weird about that kind of title and I can't blame them.

Another downpoint to a salvage is later on if they ever tried to trade the car in at a dealership for a new car they would have a hard time even getting them to trade in on it let alone give them a decent price. I know we talked to a guy in town that runs a car dealership and he said they won't even take salvage title cars on trade ins plain and simple
