Headlight lense removal

I need to take the lense off a headlight and I'm lost...

Oven at 300*. Leave it in there about 5 minutes. It's gonna get stinky. You might need to leave it in there longer too.

like patricksaid, ther tools needed flathead screwdriver sont forget to take of the metal clips, then once they are out use an oven mit the try to pry the two peices apart SLOWLY, if it doesnt budge then put it back in the oven then try again

thanks Patrick...I have had first hand experience with this because I did it to Kristens old catarac headlight after the Halos where installed

well I tried this stuff called Plastic X to see what it would do and found out it did nothing so I threw her old one away along with the other one (they were in the trash when I decided to do this in the first place)

The stuff from Meguiar's? I used some today on my blackouts and it worked just fine. I wetsanded them with 2000 grit sandpaper and then used some of that stuff. Got all the scratches out.
