buying a 99 trans am

hey guys umm i gave up on my third gen and i went around shoping for cars and i came across a 2004 mustang gt 5spd i need 2 more thumbs to give that car 4 thumbs down. i found a 99 ta m6 WOW!!!!!!! it has wayyyy more power than that mustang.but anyways while i was drivin it i opend it up several times and it started to make this thump everytime i shifted and hit a bump. what problems does that year model have is it worth buyn? it is for 13,000 and it has 106,xxx miles thanks

whoooaa thats way to high priced lol

get 'em down to like 9k. and have them check out the tranny issue

reguardless of the noise, 13k is way to high for a 99 w/ over 100K. you can find an 01+ w/ less than 80K-90K for around 13K.

I think a fair price for that car is around 9k but no more than 10k

It sounds like the tranny mount if it bumps up everytime it shifts...For over 100,000 miles...(which is a lot), I would go between 8k-9k...if not less. If it has ram air, ws6...I'd go 9k
