Oil Change

Im sorry about this, im sure its been asked 500 times, but what oil should I use? My car will have 18000 on it. Also any particular brand? And is there anything else I should change/replace at this time or not?

I use Mobil 1 5W 30 and a K&N oil filter. You will need to change your oil filter when you change the oil filter with the oil. Also if you air filter is dirty replace it (if it's the stock kind) or clean it if it's the aftermarket kind IMO.

Well, i regretfully have decided to just take it to ez lube today. I don't feel like getting a jack and jack stands and also taking the oil someplace to have it disposed. I know I know, im lazy and im wasting money. Is it true though that they might not even change the oil? Or would they really do anything wrong to the car? Should I take it to a chevy dealership instead? Any opinions are greatly appreciated.

you can just watch them put the new oil in....they arent going to short change you and not change the oil....tahts just someone trying to scare you and they wont mess up your car as long as you let them know what oil you want etc. these places make a living changing oil...they want customers to come back so they wont mess up their customers cars knowingly
