alright so i dont know that much about cars, but am look for some suggestions bc i can see that you guys do know quite a bit, or so it seems. I have a 02 z28 that is stock to the bone except for the slp cat back exhaust i have on it. i was wondering what do you guys recommend the first couple of things i should do to this car as far as performance wise. thanks alot for the info

SLP flow pac...says it'll give you about 20 horses. gives you a lid box, CAI (cold air intake), smooth bellows, k&n filter and i think something else. '02 z thats a nice ride. i have the exact car. yay for 35th anniversary models. the flowpac is about 300 or about 280 if you get it on sale

The SLP air lid for starters, then may be some headers.

cut the bottom of the airbox out (do a search on free ram air). Have patience and do a search for used lids. While your at it do the fernco mod instead of slp bellows(a piece of rubber tubing from home depot or lowes)Get a real tune(check out pcmforless). The tune is probably worth the most, even on a stock car. Then get a set of longtube headers when you get the money.
have fun modding!

I say the Flo-Pac as well, then depending on how mechanically inclined you are a set of gears is always a fairly cheap way to make your car alot quicker.
