No kidding. I don't think I've ever seen a Z w/manual windows. If you do want to change them, though, I would check under the door panels to see if the wiring is there. A lot of older cars with manual windows had the exact same set up as far as wiring and mounts as power window cars. All you had to do was get new door panels and get the motor and parts. You might want to check before you get completely different doors just to find out you didn't need to go that far.
I would keep the manual windows though. It sounds like a pretty rare feature. You should do some research on the subject and let us know just how rare that is.

hah yea my 01 z has manual windows, locks, mirrors and no rear defroster or trunk pop i bought an aftermarket kit for the power windows and installed a power lock/keyless entry/alarm it cost me about 250 total and was definately worth it, although the power windows arent the best motors but its better then nothing i guess
who the hell buys these cars without all of that crap im so pissed at whoever bought this car first |

http://www.customstreetdesigns.com/3277-031-128.htm thats the power window kit and.....
this is the alarm/keyless entry/power lock kit http://www.customstreetdesigns.com/3723-520-2DLK.htm the alarm was an easy install, the windows were a little bit of a pain cause the motor has to fit right in the arm rest of the doors but after a while youll get it to fit even though theres a little bit of a bulge, its not noticeable but of course it bothers me. and the power locks were a little tricky i had to trim the rubber piece holding the lock rod in because once the other rod was attached it wouldnt fit and when i left it out the door ushed on it and made the locks near impossible to slide. If you decide to order it shoot me a pm and ill give you all the tips that helped me out |

yup it comes with every thing u need, it came with brackets for the switches too but they were to big for that panel so i just hacked it up and shoved em in there. It requires a good amount of time for trial and error and you have to be comfortable taking pretty much the whole dash apart to run wires through the doors and stuff but it wasnt that difficult more annoying then anything
