im bored...does this sound like it may work?

what if i cut my long stinkin antenna down to about half length and just glue on my little ball to that? will i still have good radio reception or do you think that would mess it up and im better off buying a shorter antenna to begin with?

Thumbs up

just letting you all know that i chopped it off...i cut it about half way down and then i cut off the ball from the top and just super glued it to the new part...and my reception did not change at all. it is just as good as it was before, static free. So if anyone else cares to try go for it, i just used a dremel.

Yah thats what my buddy did on his car just cut it off and glues the ball back to the tyop and his reception works great still. I need to do it to my car too to get rid of that long stock antenna that sticks up entirely too high.
