I went 290 miles on 11.5 gallons of gas before I got the S/C, the trip back took an extra 10 dollars to make it home.

well it all depends on how you drive, but just for a reference, ive been bored recently so i go drive corvettes at the dealer for fun, its really quite great to pretend your going to buy a vette for like 20 mins , plus you get a free ride in a rockett. but i drove an 01 z06...the one with the ls1 engine i believe and it was getting 8 mpg at the best...over a ~5 mile test drive i could see the needle move....feel lucky that we get nearly the same power with a bonus of much better mpg
