how much more power can i expect from a k & n filter? website says 2-4%. Is that 2-4% of what i already have? Will an air lid help? How much power can i expect from that?

Yes, a lid will help alot also. Lid and filter will net you about 5-10 RWHP. Closer to 10.

It will help more with a lid, but the filter alone helps a little. But if you want to save up and still want to stick with K&N, go the the K&N FIPK. It'll probably run you around $315-$325 though, depending on where you buy it from.

The FIPK setup is more than twice that of a lid and filter, and there is not that much difference.

They are not worth the $$$$!!!!
I am sure Thunder Racing carries them though, if you want to waste your $$$ that is!

I got mine from JEGS magazine, or jegs.com. I think I saw some on eBay too. LS1Speed.com has them also.

Pretty much anyone carries them. Look around on my list of manufacturers and see who has the best price.

You can get a lid, filter, bellow smooth, and 85mm MAF for almost the same price. Do you really think it will outperform those?

You can lead a horse to water, you can't make him/her drink it.
