I believe most Z28's 1998 and up come standard with the power pack, (seats, mirrors, cruise.) If you get the M6 it will most likely have the 3.42 limited slip rear end. and the A4 will probably have either the 2.73 or the 3.23's. Most Z's came with fog lights, and day time running lights (standard on all camaro's). Other options will include leather, chrome wheels, and again these are options not standard options. Hope that helps.

Thanks, that helps a little, but how do I know if it is a M6 or a A4, or how can I tell which rear end is in the car? Im pretty sure this z28 is all stock, hopefully.

Also, is there anything besides the obvious that I should look into on the car before I buy it? its used, 2000, with 39k miles, automatic. Any specific problem areas with this age car?

Thanks for the help.

being an automatic, its an A4, the manual is a M6, with any used car. i look for paint mismatch. look at where the fenders bolt to the body to see if they look like theyve been removed. sign of removed parts. hard to look under these cars but to see if anyones tried to fix any damage under there. oh yeah, and kick the tires lol j/k

tires are original equipment, about 180$ each to replace I think, with still atleast 10k miles on them, according to my dad.

there are a bunch of codes in the glove box. Some of these guys actually know what they are. Post the codes and they will help you. These codes will tell all. I believe there is also a web page that will tell you what every code means right down to the color. Anyone know that web sight???
