Need some info

Hey guys' as some of you know I'm in the process of buying a 2002 Z28-SS. One thing kind of bugs me, I though the ASR was atandard on all SS mdels or was it an option? My friend whom owns the lot where the car is told me that ASR was mainly common with the A4, and that the M6 did not come with it. Does anyone out there have an SS or Z28 M6 with ASR? I just want to make sure I'm not getting a car that's pretty stripped down, even though this thing fits me like a glove. Thanks.

It was an option, I would prefer not to have it, I don't have it on my car.

Oh you are too funny, that weiner was me I don't care about the ASR, I just was wondering if it aided in the value of the car. In another post I wrote about this car, I had mentioned that this car was ordered as a hard top SS with silver wheels M6, 3.42 or 3.43 posi, cloth interior, and the only notable option was the DCO exhaust. Now don't get me wrong, I love the car, but I just want to make sure I am getting one that is worth the money. Does the ASR add to the value in any way, and also, is it a hindrance for performance?

BTW the car now has chrome 10 spokes and custom leather interior thats brand new with the 35 logo embroidered on the headrest.

Hey Rick, if you don't mind me asking, what are you going to pay for this car?

Just a reminder to all, it's a hard top. Is it still worth the money? I sure hope so, this thing is in my blood. It's all I see, unfortunately my credit union is so shorthanded, that I won't know my loan status until Thursday or Friday. Wish me luck all, and thanks for all your great advice.

Hope you get it...we can get together sometime. I work off of McBean and Ave Scott, right behind the Bridgeport homes.
