What he said. They're notorious for going out.

I bought both my window motors from billy graham's fbody salvage yard for 75 shipped. I believe they had a guarentee or something like that. My buddy that works for a GM dealership around the corner replaced them for 50 bux and it took like 30 minutes to replace..

Should be a pretty easy job. Check out Shoebox's write-up on it: http://shbox.com/page/windowmotor.html

Thanks for being awesome Shoebox!

if its not out yet try this.....this was a thread awhile back and helped alot of people...the window motor has sometype of grease in it that drys up and hardens this makes the motor work much harder then it should....signs of slowing down mean its about to get toasted and go dead....if you can get the motor out open it take all that hard grease out (yellow i think) and add new lubricate or type of grease and bolted back up and put it back...see if this helps it might save you some money.

Well your motors sound like they are on thier way to going out. I went to a place down here called lamberts & they quoted me $130 for each window, Including labor.
