AC leak...and i live in texas

i have a 96 Z28 and when i bought the car i knea of teh AC leak. i;ve had it for about a month now and i have done other work to it ( fixed the starter and exhaust manifold leak) and now i want to fix the stupid AC because its black on black leather and its 105 outside. How do i go about finding and fixing the problem of a AC leak? and are there any nutorious problems with Camaros that i should check first?

p.s: i have already tried re-charging the system

Honestly take it to a professional, and tell then to do a leak test and find the leak before fixing anything. Mine is leaking out of the high pressure side where the rubber hose goes down near the altnernator. Once the problem is fixed the system will need to be vac'd out for moisture then recharged.

my dad is a tech himself and says they just use a dye to get it out...and i dont fancy spending 300 bucks to have someone else touch my car
