Alright on that putting the 95 Fbody V6 will work fine if that is what you have and then if you changed the rear gears out do you know what gear ration was in the M6? If so then replace the axle ratio number with that number then calculate everything.

I am not sure about going backwards to find the rear gears but there might be something out there that does.

those numbers on the right are mph.

mph = rpm x tire diameter / gear ratio x 336
rpm = mph x gear ratio x 336 / tire daimeter
gear ratio = rpm x tire diameter / mph x 336
tire diameter = mph x gear ratio x 336 / rpm

this also finds the final gear ratio, so it would be the trans ratio x rearend ratio. so if you wanted to find the rear end ratio from the gear ratio equation, divide the trans ratio for the gear you are in, by the final gear ratio ... and it should give you your rear end ratio.

exactly what i was looking for thanks man..and dam....so if its mph i think it might be a lil off because i dont think my old 93 z28 could of gone over 200mph....
