Does it sound like the fan or something else? Maybe you need to replace your heater core. Most likely the fan is out of balance due to bad bearings or bushings. Or, maybe it's loose.

it may be a loose fan im not sure but y would the pipes be banging and vibrating. when i make the speed higher it gets louder but like i dont understand why everything is shaking if its just the fan.
How hard is it to install a new heater core if thats the case...i did one in a friends truck but we had to remove the entire dash. It couldnt be that though cause if it was broken wouldnt it not put out hot air |

open the box up you should be able to get to the fan. Heck something could have gotten in there and made a nest. If the fan is shaking the whole thing will shake, cause the fan moves pretty fast. Also does it get louder with fan speed?

nah there couldnt be a nest or anything in there cause this is a daily driver and i use the fan fairly often for defroster or heat lately. Yes as i increase the speed it gets louder...idont even thinkit makes the sound on anything other then high. And what do u mean open the box up, the glove box? isnt that also where the core is?

ok it seems the fan behind the glove box was loose and was vibrating on whatever it was resting on so i touched it and the sound stopped. but then i went to do it again and it still makes the noise and that wasnt actually the problem, i cant get it to stop now and also inside the engine bay one of the ac lines has cold air leaking out of it. What the hell is going on with my car and how did this happen it just came out of no where

Definitely sounds like the blower to me. Try the AC and turn up the blower. If it does the same thing then you have a blower issue.

Autozone for about $35 and it's a simple unbolt the old one from the inside of the firewall in the engine compartment and bolt a new one on....and of course unplug the old one and plug the new one in. A Chilton's manual is an asset for a do-it-yourselfer of this nature. Good luck' and if you have any questions you can PM me and I'll walk you through it.
