$500 to spend..what to buy?

Ok i have around $500 to play with for my 98 m6 Z. I'm wondering what would give me most bang for buck...I was thinking like a Lid..but then theres nothign else i can get for $400..it already has a Borla cat-back..No nitrous i will go that route over winter when i can save up $1000 for a nice safe setup ..Any ideas appreciated..How much would a tune help?

Air box lid is a good choice the one from slp is good because of what its made of I think you could get the cold air kit for around that. Dont get the MAF from them though you dont want it.

then get a cam, 3.73, headers, heads and you'll be running in the 11's

Now on 243 built heads, 10.7.1 compression, sfc, Tpis 90, tpis 90 TB,and safty loop.
