Best way to Clean Engine bay?

What is the best way to do it. What products to use, or methods?

I'm sure some go a little more hardcore at it than me, but I use SimpleGreen and a toothbrush. Got the advice off here a while ago. Don't know how well it worked because my engine was really clean to begin with.

I use SImple Green, and spray the underside of the hood, as well as EVERYTHING in the bay, just try not to spray it directly on wires. I let it sit for a few minutes, then wash it off with my hose. Starting at the underside of the hood, then the inner fenders, then the motor. Let it dry off, and spray Silicone Spray on the bay.

This is your result, on a 107k mile car.

I cover the MAF sensor plug, the PCM and the fuse box....and spray "gunk" engine brite over EVERYTHING and let it sit.....spray off, then hit it with compressed air...I like to use NXT's vinyl/rubber spray on the hoses and stuff.

I'm not special enough to have pics, but I use GREEZ-OFF from Spray-nine. That stuff is awsome. Spray it on, wait a min and hose it off.

No Tyler, just go to car wash like i did, cake on some engine degreaser and let it sit for a few minutes then put it to high pressure wash and just spray the **************** out of it..just use common sense avoiding the computer in the corner....ls1's love water compared to the lt1.
