Water?

I get water in the hidden compartment across from the jack and spare tire on the driver's side. I was wondering does anyone else have this problem and where does it come from?

yeah its in the bottom. At the back of the car looking in the trunk......to ur left behind the carpet and it has a plastic door over it, right behind you wheel. I keep my wheel lock and extra stuff in there. I grabbed my key and it was wet and rusted. Then i felt in there and of course there was water...

I pulled out my spare just a little bit ago and I had no sign of water their you might want to check your seals in your hatch back or look around to see if any water is comming in anywhere. I knoe when I open up my hatch back if its ranning or just rained water can run inside some times but not too much.

Its the trunk seal..

think about when you wash your car and when you open the trunk to dry. where is there water? Its also the reason why if you dont dry it up it goes and the rear bumper cover when you drive away.. If the seal is bad, instead of going out the rear, it goes in the trunk..
