Should i put SS hood and wing on a Z28 02

I have been REALLY debating on doing this. It seems somewhat cheap/easy to do this, just really curious as to should i do it or not. Gimmie your opinions.

IDK, I really like the way that looks, but then again its not an SS. You could do it if you really wanted, but there are other hoods out there that look better IMO.

I say it's up to you. i don't see a problem with it. It's when people re-badge their cars (i.e. a Z28 badged as an SS) that I don't think is right.

I'd do it. In fact I'm going to get a WS6 hood for my non WS6 Trans Am. I like my car and I'm not about to trade if for anything else even a WS6. If you like the way the hood and spoiler look then get them. It's your car and do what you like. That's a nice Camaro and a new hood and spoiler will make it that much nicer

They didn't even have an SS for my year, I think the SS wing is one of the better designs, the factory SS hood is probably one of the best made hoods.

Exactly. You can get the look but don't pass it off as one. It is what you want and like, do what your wallet permits

I thought about doing it, but the Z28 heritage always stopped me.

96-97 yes there was an SS. There is a hood an Spoiler to go with it. I have the Spoiler on my '02 Z28. Has a Z28 look to it, just a different profile.

As for the Thread. I absolutly love my Sunoco hood. The combo of it with the 96-97 SS spoiler is perfect to keep with the Z28 heritage. The LS1 4th gens can keep their SS, I luv my Z28

Waiting for Parts is poo... Scroll down, there is some unpainted pics.

Ya, I like that spoiler, but I think I like the 98+ SS spoiler better.

The 98+ is nice lookin but I wanted to keep my tail light. I didnt want the LED strip. Keeps with the Z28 look and give that added Height to go along with the Hood. It all balances out.
