Scratches on Windshield

I have a bunch of nasty scratches on the top of my windshield like right above the rearview. They are whitish-yellow and its not etched in the glass or anything, you cant feel them when you run your finger over them. This has been bugging me since I got my car and I want to do something about it. Anybody have any solutions? I was thinking of trying that stuff people use to get scratches out of eyeglasses, but I heard that stuff doesnt really work anyway so I dont want to waste my money. This isnt a huge deal because I cant see them because the rearview blocks them perfectly from the driver seat. Just looking for any quick, inexpensive fixes.

Kinda wondering the same thing. I had my wiper blade come loose and scratched my windshield at the bottom

Been meaning to ask about a fix for that myself.
