Tires

Today I noticed a giant screw in my tire. I need new tires anyway and I was wondering if people could give me suggestions. I want ones that are going to perform well but last long. Suggestions on where to buy them and which ones?

yeah, nittos in the back defineatly (should last 10k-15k not bad for a dr), and bf goodrichs kdw's or gforce sports up front. the bf's are a good all around tire, good in rain, good traction, and will last 30k-40k miles.

any direcitonal Z rated tire is going to caust you the cheepest I found was 150 each they were called sumitomo I think they are a harder composit so they last longer than the goodyears that your car came with but don't preform as well. Lets hear what you end up getting. Nitto's are a great tire too.

Well I want ones that will last approx 25-30K but will still hook up if I want to punch it. Am I hearing Nitto's as the top choice?

bfgoodrich g-force sports r a great tire for what u r looking for, the ones i mentioned in my previous post for the fronts. i have them all the way around because i was looking for exactly the same thing as you, good in all weather, good traction for a dd, last a long time, and i never go to the track. they are z rated (150mph) but were only 110 mounted and balanced. i think the total bill was 480ish. good luck.

No problem man, i hope you enjoy them as much as i do. did you get 275 width or 285? i just got 245 (8.5 inch wheel) but your ss comes with 275s (9inch wheel) and you could get on 285s. i didn't know this till after i bought mine but i could get 255s on mine, wish i had known sooner and i would have done that!
