I wouldnt beat that its the alternator going bad. Check all the connections to the battery and alternator and make sure they are good. You have might have a loose one.

nah... no check engine light. i dont know if it would be the alternator because even if its goin bad i would still run off the battery for quite some time. yea i'll check all my connections to the battery and all that good stuff. maybe a wire has grounded out somewhere... like on the exhaust. but i would think i would immediately just blow a fuse... and i havent lost anything that i know if. so we'll see. i'll have to check everything out today

My friends TA did that but he didnt have a battery tie down and it would short out when the cable would flop around, might wanna trace ur cables and make sure they arent shorting out or burning thru some where....On his car is + cable was touching some metal and started to burn thru.
