Kumho Tires

Does anyone like Kumho tires? I bought my chrome Z06's with Kumhos on them, the tires were about dead when I bought them anyways, but I liked the ride as it was...they're $125 a piece here, for 275/40/17, and $114 for 245/40/17

Anyone had any experience? Should I keep the 275's on the front of the car, or go down to 245's?

Stick with 275's, you will be soooooooooooo glad you did it.... Remember, more rubber ='s more traction and kumho's are pretty decent tires!

I'm running these on my Porsche Turbo right now because the rears require replacing every 15k miles and costs were adding up.

Its a very soft tire, not great for cornering.......but wear well, no excessive tire noise like I had with Pirellis. I'm OK with them.

Ya,keep 275's all the way around(rotatability) and wider fronts make for better handling and cornering....get KDW2's!!

go to this mail order outfit and check out the reviews for your tires....I only saw Kumho's under the 275's size. http://www.discounttiredirect.com/di...002&vid=007307

I've got the Ecsta STX's on the back. I like 'em quite a bit and wear seems to be good too.

Problem is, I have 17's up front and 18's in the back, so no rotatability happening here.

I think I'll go with em....they've been good to me with only 5% tread left, so I'd imagine new ones would be awesome.

If you want 245/45/17, I am selling 2, 80% tread depth left (8/32nds). $125 for both. Kuhmo ecsta supras.

I loved my Kumho Ecsta MX's, but don't have any experience with the others.

How would the 245's handle on the front of my car? I've never had a tire that narrow. Why are you parting with almost new tires?
