Quality stereo installation dash kits?

Are there any stereo installation kits that look better than the ones sold at walmart?

Here is the one in my 95 that came from walmart.. i never liked how it stuck out about 1/2 inch...

now before i install my head unit into the 97, i wanted to see if there was any kits that would make the head unit sit flush with the dash, and not stick out

unless you use a saw and cut off the metal bracket thats behind the radio (and i'm not entirely sure its a wise idea to do that) all aftermarket radios will stick out the 1/2" or else they would've made it so the face was flushly mounted. That was my experience. I hated it too. So I just put the monsoon head back into the car. *shrug*

yeah, the dash conversion kits all stick out like that. I had a really nice clarion one in my Grand Prix that changed colors and had screensavers. I would reccomend it if you are looking for a new one.

We used the same kit that we used for my truck on my friends 97 camaro and it worked.
