Checking to see what you think

Hey all,
I'm putting up a poll, I did a mediocre chop of some tail lights that JonnyZ28 has on his car to see what they'd look like. I just wanted to know what everyone else thinks about them. I have a feeling I know what you're going to say but I thought I'd humor myself

they prob look ok, but it would look better if you lost that bumper sticker on the back.

I personally never liked that style of tail light. Then again I dont any aftermarket tail light that I have seen. Personally I would either keep the factory tails of get some LT1 style tails to get rid of the Amber.

I agree with DC, have that sticker pulled off the bumper. It would clean up the tail so nicely.

Yeah I know about the sticker. That was one of my original photos. Notice the license plate? its not whited out. It was a piece of paper from the dealership. I took that one before I even got to my house (it was at my parents house which is about half way home from the dealership). The sticker's gone.

I'm just looking to do something different. And i'm not a big fan of the LT1 lenses as its not really that different. I've been looking into the smoke covers or something along those lines too.

Thanks for all the input, I'd write more but I gotta get going to a Christmas party.

Ouch! Alright alright. I have to call it on that one. I tried my best to chop in a set of LT1 tail lights and they do look much better in my opinion than even the stock ones. Now I just need to find a pair nice and cheap. Thanks for the input everyone.

Sorry Jay. Gotta agree. Either the LT1s or shades.

shades would be the easiest assuming you can find a pair for ~30$

Well, after looking into it and looking at them on my car, I do tend to like the LT1's. Though while searching for a pair from someone here might be selling so I can help'm out I noticed that someone said that the light sockets for the LT1's are different from the LS1's. I couldn't find anything on a swap so I was wondering if any one knew any thing about doing a swap? How involved is it if something needs to be done? The guy who had the car before me had a real blue/red scheme going and I think the amber throws it off. The LT1's look good enough on their own. But maybe i'll shade them with the film or the spray. *shrug*

I think if you got those lights, then blacked them out it would look good.. it would look sweet from the blackouts, and it would look even cooler with the different light pattern.
