where to get the nice subs for trunk?

Anyone know where to get that nice box that sit right in the back of the trunk for a 3rd gen? Saw it in a couple of camaros now. Thanks for info.

Thanks and there is no difference in trunk sizes from 3rd gen to 4th? because the years are 93 and up. thanks.

Trunk size isn't different, but I'd make sure the shape is the same.

Just so you don't get confused later down the road the 3rd gen is 82-92 and the 4th gens are 93-02

ya I know i posted the years are 93 and up thats why i asked if 3rd and 4th are the same because they dont have 82 and up sorry for confusion.

check out audioenhancers. that is where i got mine from, good build quality and perfect fit. all screwed and glued. you can get them thru hifisoundconnection and they were even reasonable on shipping.

yeah go to Lowes and get some MDF (multi-density fiberboard) get the 1/2inch thick stuff, some wood glue, and some 1 5/8 drywall screws. just measure the trunk area and basicly cut the MDF to the shape of the trunk. put it together by glueing one pieve to another at a time, predrill the holes for the screws before you use them so u dont crack the MDF

I would recommend 3/4 MDF over 1/2.
3/4 is the standard thickness used in sub boxes.

Another option is to fiberglass a box too, it will be much lighter and easier to pull out of the well if needed.
