Sub in a convertible
Anyone have any good ideas for where to put a sub in a convertible without giving up trunk space? I'd rather not lose the spare, either. I'm not looking for earth-shattering bass, just some nice fill, so a single 8" would be fine.

I know you said you didn't want to lose trunk space. But honestly trunk space isn't something that a lot of people look for in a convertible fbody, so even if you lose some, you're not losing much of anything in the first place.
Here is what I have done with mine. I can still fit my bookbag in there for school. It's really the only way I could run the setup I wanted, in order to sound good and still be able to use my convertible top AND not screw around with the factory plastic interior.![]() ![]() And here you can see that the bow of the convertible top rests just behind the amp in the down position: ![]()

BlueZee28, this is my DD and grocery hauler so I really can't give up the trunk space. Your install looks nice but just wouldn't work for me.
