help! installed new headunit
so i intalled my pioneer deh5900ib into the camaro. it was in my blazer w/ a bose system so i already had the interface to make it work with the bose in the Z. so i got it in the camaro and now im getting a whine noise it doesnt change with rpm its just there and also when i turn on other electrical thing such as headlights, turn signal, and when i apply the brakes i get a popping noise. i ran my own ground for the headunit and it didnt help so idk what else to check.

check the ground from the radio, make sure it is clean and secure

you have whats called a ground loop...you can try a isolater, but it might not fix it....i always like to bypass any factory amplified system and put a 4 channel in our run it off of the head unit

ill have to look into that..though im not all to worried because i already have my amp and speakers i took out of my blazer to put in. just gotta find time to get around to it. plus the bose doesnt sound very good with an aftermarket headunit anyway.
