New from Texas

Hello everyone, I just got my first camaro!
IM very happy with it, it’s a 2001 ls1. All I’ve done with it so far is clean it up and a small ram air mod to the intake. Im looking for an exhaust for it, but I need some advice on which to get. I have considered the gmmg chambered exhaust, but I have heard good things and some bad.

Welcome to the site! Flowmaster definitely flows better than stock and sounds great IMO. Take time be4 you buy or you'll end up like me with extra mufflers hangin around

Welcome......I am in Tyler,TX, about 100 miles se of Dallas. If I had to choose, it would be the gmmg. It has a nasty sound.

Welcome! I would go with GMMG too. I hear it can get raspy with longtube headers but it sounds great with just the catback. Btw you're going to see about the same power gains from all catbacks so base your decision on sound. Though most people say flowmaster is more restrictive than others.
