can i use this kit safly on my lt1

I got a no2 dry kit from a guy at work, it included bottle , main line ,1 solinoid no2, 1 line from solinoid to nozzel, single inlet nozzel, 5 jets.

i hooked it all up and have the nozzel in front of my maf meter used it 10 times no problem at all so far.i want to put a big jet in but have gotten diffrent story;s from every one.

new fuel pump, fuel filter to make sure i dont lean out,but the kit does not tap into the fuel at all and that worries me. Help please help. did run a 8.5 in the 8th last night on the small pill

Your not boosting your fuel pressure up while spraying? You have to do that on a dry kit with LT1's. I suggest stop spraying and get a wet kit!

I agree with Tony, wet is about the only way to go. You should have a min of 45lbs if not 50 when spraying a dry shot. I have heard of a lot of prople spraying dry without any problems but it does go way lean for a bit. And, from what I have heard, it's not good on an LT1 to spray before the MAF, only on an LS1. That is just what I heard.
