Good v/s bad, that is the question, lol.

you didn't tell us what kind of kit you are running. If you are running a dry shot, you could run the engine lean but prolly not with that small of a shot. If you are running a wet shot, you can grenade the engine if your fuel pump fails. That is why I always use a fuel pressure shut off switch and a window switch. Nitrous will not clean out your injectors. I'm not sure what your friend was thinking but even with direct port injection, there is not enough "cleaning agent" to clean them out. And I'm guessing that you are running something like a fogger setup where the nozzel is ahead of the TB and will do nothing with your injectors.

Nitrous can clean some carbon off of your pistons and valves but not your injectors. The reason is that the nitrous does not run through the inj.

Nitrous will clean off your spark plugs.
Or melt them if you are running to lean.

Yeah, what muncher said. The heater will give you consistant results till the bottle is about empty. Don't worry about it catching on fire, just keep everything away from it and make sure that your charging system is up to the challange. And the pressure that he stated is perfect IMO
