Since I have a 93 how would I control the motor to get more fuel if i say wanted to do like a 35 safe shot of nitrous?

Well first of all do you already have a kit? If not I would suggest a wet kit which comes with both the nitrous solenoid and the fuel solenoid. You would then either run a plate kit (which mounts between the throttle body and the intake), or a nozzle setup which you can install anywhere after the MAF unit. You would tie the fuel solenoid in to your Schrader valve which is located at the back of your intake on the fuel rail and it looks kind of like a tire valve stem. When you attach it to this you need to take your basic valve stem tool and remove the valve stem out of the Schrader valve. This will allow the fuel to free flow through the valve. Then you just wire up your system as you already would and your ready to go.

On one other note which I really dont want to say this because I dont recommend it but it will work If you are going to run a 50 and under shot and I stress under that amount you can actually just hook up the nitrous solenoid and spray the nitrous through the MAF like the LS1 units do. Your MAF which should be in good condition can handle that amount of nitrous and actually tell the computer to add enough fuel for the extra power. But like I said I wouldnt do it because I dont trust our MAFs that much to be accurate enough to keep from going lean on a nitrous run. Plus if you setup the car the way I was stating in the first paragraph you will be ready to up the shot whenever you wish, as long as you have the other safety precautions like cooler plugs, something to take timing out, etc.

i know this is an old thread but my 93 didnt have a maf????? its the chip obd1 speed density

and more fuel well you need a better fuel pump....shoot even with a mild bolt on car a better fuel pump i think will benefit....and you just follow the jet instructions the brand you get for the nitrous zex, nos, cold fussion(ive used and its great) have there own jet sizes make sure you follow that and your good....or ask them if you could add a lil more fuel with a bigger fuel jet ...but ask them first!!!

Yeah, Glenn had a little brain fart in that second paragraph lol. All 93's are speed density without a MAF and his way wouldn't work. As he said though, I would not suggest doing this... But, you can spray a dry shot and your o2's will adjust the fuel. The major problem with this is that your motor will go hella lean for a second and that could be bad. I would just run a wet kit, they are only about $100 more for the small shots.
