Smile So, how 'bout this weather!

I'll bet this subject is somewhat meaningless to a lot of people living south of here, but for the rest of us up here in Rust-Ville Washington......the weather has been outstanding.

I practically live for warm sunny weather so that I can pop the T-tops and just go cruising around. Well, we've had the perfect conditions up here for the last 5 days now, that I just had to bring it up.

I'm always the one who's like this every time the sun hides for more than a couple days............
So now I'm happy to be more like this just because it's been so nice. (For here that is)
It's been in the upper 70's low 80's where I live, and for a place that has a high humidity rate, that's the perfect temperature.........any warmer than that and it's just too muggy.

That's all,......just felt like sharing my cheerful mood!!!!

Daam Shaun, I feel for ya! I've been exactly where you're at though. (more times than I like to admit) I bought my car at the end of fall, which is when it gets nasty here. So after buying about 5K worth of mods, they sat in my condo for months before having any of them installed. Then after installing the biggest part of them, it decided to rain again for 2 straight months.......so I know exactly how you feel.

Your car looks so clean in your new sig by the way, so I can only imagine your frustration after just detailing it.

Tammy: You are among the very few that I know, who actually look forward to the rain. Watching the recent weather forecast has made me feel sick to my stomach after the last week of hot sunny days. I guess I'll be spending a lot more time here next week.

LOL I like warm weather but its nice to drive a KEWL car. but having to drive the GEO around makes me want to have the rain.

Arch I was born in Alaska in the dead of winter in the middle of a blizzard lol, is it a wonder I love cool weather??? I cant stand it being COLD or To HOT lol. I guess that means no Reno in Aug for me huh???

I don't know about you......but I'm definitely doing "Hot August Nights" this year!

Yeah, I pretty much live for cruising my car around, so for me......the rain is just a thorn in my side that never goes away.

It's suppose to be partly sunny on Sunday, so I think I'm going to road trip over to Moses Lake and visit my ex, then come back through Wenatchee to visit my sister, and then head back over Blewitt Pass. That will make for a full day of cruising.

Well...we may see relief!!(still raining)

Theres only 10% chance of rain sat. and sun.

just enought ime to install and detail....the new sig pic is prolly my best shot where you can actually "see" results....you have a white car,Arch,so I know you know how hard it is to capture reflection/glare in a pic on light color cars....silvers not much easier than white.....Thats why I wanna try this ICE,maybe,I'll be able to "see" a difference!!

Yeah, I know I was really impressed with it. It was one of those decisions that sort of came at the last minute. I actually had the Meguiers polish and detailer in my hands when I spotted it over to left a ways, but then I remembered a few guys talking about it at the last car show I was at, so I just said: what the hell,....I'll give it a try.

I'm actually glad I did get it, because like you said, our cars are so hard to project that shiney reflection, it's almost like we have to work twice as hard to get the same kind of attention for how good it looks. Is there stuff out there that works better? Oh definitely.......but for the price, the results of that price, and the ease of application, I'll definitely buy more.

I hope you like it too bud,.....if you do choose to get!

It was nice enough today NO rain & not to warm out, So I went out & burnt the pile that has been growing in my front yard for the last two years (each winter we have either trees that fall or branches We normally pile the branches on a pile in our front yard & burn it once a year didnt have time to do it last year) it too all of 45mins to bring it all down to some left over tree branchs ( I do mean big tree branchs) & a pile of ash lol.
Cant wait for next weekend to go to another car show south of us.

Yeah, it's actually been pretty warm here too, but I've always the type that doesn't care as much about the temperature........it could be 30 degrees out, but as long as it was dry and sunny, I'd be happy!

Even if it's cloudy out, it doesn't bother me near as much as when the roads are wet. My main source of entertainment, "SELF THERAPY" and just all around favorite thing to do anymore, is just to be able to go out, clean my car (if need be) and "CRUISE"!!!

The Northwest has been my home for 40 years, but I can't tell you in words how happy I am to know that I'll be moving south within the next two years.
