My POS

Well as some of you have seen over the past few year my car has evolved in to a personality all its own. it started out as just a plan jane 92 RS with the killer 305tbi lol. I was looking for an IROC for almost 6 months, well all of the ones I looked at were way over priced and not in the shape I was looking for. Well I went to go look at a little old RS just to see, the price was about what I wanted to pay for a car(4K), mind you this was in 2001. Well it was the last one I looked at. Now it wasnt an IROC but it was the cleanest car i had looked at. It was a low mile (64k) RS that was this SEXY marroon, mind you I was looking for a Blue car, but WOW she cought my eye. Ok I looked so hard to find something wrong with the car and I just couldn't at that time....LOL

So i bought the car and drove it for almost 30k. Mind you I modded the car as much I could when it was the 305tbi, and it was a fun car to drive. But I wanted to go faster. I did all the standard mods to the car like gears, posi, ULTIMATE TBI mod, exhaust and custome computer chip. I think the best I got with that combo was 15 something. So I did the LT1 swap that was a great learning experiance the first time, yes I said the first time.....LOL. I got the engine in, was pretty easy, but I put off doing the wiring for sometime. I had never wired anything that big before so I did all the research I could and after about 2 months of reading I got it done.

I drove it with the 700r4 attached to the LT1 for alittle bit but it wasnt cutting it. I bought a tci manual lockup kit but it still wasn't the way I wanted it, so I did the T56 swap

Well that made the car ALLOTTTTT of fun to drive!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! but me being me, it wasnt enough, I needed to stop now so I did the 4th gen rear swap with disc brakes and the ZR1's.

Ok the car was getting were i wanted it it had the sleeper look and still had a sexy look at the same time. The next mod was the end of the first LT1 I put a cc306 cam in it and some how it got trach in the pan from the instll. It took me some time to get the cash up to to the cam swap so it sat taken apart for sometime. I was covered but wasnt enough. Anyways took it to the dyno to get it logged to see were it wqs so I could get it tuned better and the it POPPED on the dyno.....BOOOOOOO. so it sat for sometime well almost 2 years to be exact..... Then I started the curent combo my 383 lt1. I also did the alt relocation bracket and put a manual steering box on.

I also did the complete 4th gen interior swap while the car was down, and also the 98-2002 front brake mod

I am sure I miss alot but this is the big things I have done to this car. I am sorry for all the pics Jason and ADMIN edit if you feel fit.

And how she site now.... And I still not DONE....LOL

its never "done". you might get to a point where you are happy with it, then something will change and you'll keep going. its what makes this such a fun hobby.

The evolution of this car should leave most of us with our jaws agape. The amount of work Sean has put into this vehicle is ASTOUNDING! A few months back it was the COTM winner ... fully deserved, if you ask me. It is an awesome car, running in the 11s (well, it will be in the 11s as soon as Sean gets off his butt and gets it a "real" tune, lol! J/K!). I have nothing but the utmost respect for this car, and its owner!

I 100% agree and couldnt have said it any better. I have loved that car since the day I joined this site, and it truly is an incredible car. Much respect to the owner and will continue to watch the car progress.

Thank you all for the nice comments. It has been a LABOR OF LOVE, but man she is testing my love that is for sure. I just hope I can get it to G13 if she will stop having these bad days.....and costing me alot more money. And Paul she has been in the 11's just not consistantly LOL, and not as low as she should be.
