Sweetness. I was tearing down some more of the interior and I was expecting to find nothing in the sail panels. Took off the covers and bam I found a new JVC CSV6945 Cant say I would have picked them out but if I dont use them I can always sale them. No clue if they're of any quality because the stereo wasn't hooked up.

I would if I weren't broke lol. I'd much rather have the 91 convertable WS6 GTA Trans Am w/ the 5.7 TPI stock....
There was a 91-92 Z28 in better shape than the one you got @ a car lot locally that was to be crushed. Pisses me off, it does it does.

I understand that, cash for clunkers should have had restrictions.

More rust. Isn't terrible though, should be fairly easy to fix. I'm thinking about using Line-X in the fender wells.

That's why I buy low mileage 3rd gens, or buy them from someone I know

lol nope, just that side. The driver side door handle does not work and the passenger side does not have a key hole, the previous owner must have been brilliant haha.

Also Nick, I dont know if you know what this piece is called but we'll see. When looking at the rear bumper if you look underneath the cover is bolted to a piece of metal. What is that piece of metal called? Mine is rusted out. I initially thought it was part of the rear floor pan, but it isnt. It will be a while before I can rip it out and get a good look at it.

That's the rear crash bar. Krista's was all rusted out too, we replaced it when we painted the car.

*pound it!*

Edit- when you buy one, make sure that the holes along the bottom of it aren't rusted out, because those are what the rear bumper attach to with push-pins. That was the part on her's that was rusted out, structurally it was fine but when we pulled the push-pins out to remove the bumper cover, the holes were rotted so badly we couldn't re-install the push-pins.
