Thumbs up SS Hood "Finally" Installed!!!

First of all, I can't tell you how happy I am to finally post this thread! I've been waiting for 8 months to get this hood fixed and painted so that I could make my car look just like the first modified 4th Generation Camaro I ever seen. (It was black, but exactly the same?)

Unfortunately there's only so much that can be done to a hood that is warped at a cross angle. I really thought my buddy could pull off a miracle, but I was wrong. He did a killer job of getting the rear corners down, but the front passenger side is a lost cause.

And, because I was in a hurry to get the hood on and snap some photos before it got dark, I didn't bother trying to get it aligned perfectly........so tomorrow I'll do that, and then I'll have to decide whether I want to pin the front of it or just put up with it. Anyway.......sorry about the links, but I can't resize 'em yet.

But you're right,..........compared to all the other things I still want to do, this is the final big piece to the Project. (Phew)

Purdy ride bud... looks beautiful. Glad to see an actually 'muscle' car(Z28) made into a cool looking car instead of some random 6-banger with a bunch of goodies on it.

Arch, you know where I stand on it and i think my comments on the pic said it all, you found a way to make Liquid Perfection even more perfect. I don't know why, but you car reminds me of a white version of Knight Rider's KITT when he was in Super Pursuit Mode, meaning your car looks like its moving at 300mph standing still! Freakin' awsome bud, just awsome. Once of these days when you come to Cali, you and I are going to build a turn key car that we;ll sell for proffit, and that sucker will be the bomb!!
