Cleaning....(56k no no no)

I figured since we all know Im a picture freak id take some pics of the cleaning process. note these are all night pics and im not really sure if you can see the differences in the pics or not...I think i can because i know what it looked like in person lol. but regardless....heres some pics. and there will be more so check back later on when the process is done and pics are taken in the light

untouched for over a week.....





after the 1st wash and clay bar....on only the drivers side (hood was just washed with dawn)





if you find one spot of dirt or anything in this pic....use some program and circle it and post it.....because this section was beyond clean in my eyes.....



after the second dawn wash, whole car is claybarred and lacking any protectant.

YAY! the shine is back!! if you look on the pass. side of the hood you can REALLY see the reflection of the dumpster lid in it. (lol) just wait til daytime! weeeeee

Seriously, in the first "dirty" pics, your car looks just as good as the "clean" pics. You obviously take great care of your car. Good job either way Carri.

ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh hhhhhhhhhhhhh dont say that!!! Dirty looking as good as clean cant be in the same sentence......*shakes head* now that means i have to make some sort of difference tomorrow between the 2.

what do you use to dry your car after washing?

Microfiber towels. I have a water blade, but i only use it on the windows so they dont spot. and i also have an "absorber" but I dont really like it.

we all love pics! looks good waxed! Are you still using the Dupont Teflon Carnuba wax? I have been detailing mine too, and its on day 3, the kids are keepin me busy, but the whole passenger side is done. I am following Ricks detailing 101. And holy cow, my car is looking good. I have the camera ready for when I am done, prolly will be done in about 3 weeks! LOL!!

lol.....yeah thats about how I feel about mine right now too. I went to bed way to .....early?!? lol at almost 7am. and its now noon and I have to get out there and finish her up.

Yeah mine sleeps under a cover too. Not nearly as much as yours....I do drive mine 2-3 times a week when its beautiful out.

unfortunitely its way to hot outside and the sun is way to direct to get anything accomplished right now. So no more pictures til tomorrow probably. I will be back out there this evening once this sun starts going down finishing my baby up.

they're coming off next week Scott, when the car gets some paint work.

lol i dont wash my car as often as some on here.
I switch up my products quite often to find what i like best.

I will be posting better pics of the car tomorrow, its all done finally.
