Talking New wheels ordered for my SS

I ordered new wheels for my SS. I didn't really need new wheels until I baught new tires and when they were installed the installation guy gouged all four wheels, so they (Tires Plus) are buying me new wheels! They are SSR GT7-H 18X9.5 and weigh only 20 lbs/ea.

The old ones can be fixed, it would cost about $500. So I negotiated a deal with them for the new rather than refurbed wheels.

I can't remember what you had on there to begin with? But hey, at least they're taking the blame and making it right. Them are some pretty sweet lookin wheels and you better post some pics when you get them on.

for saving on weight they are pretty nice but as far as that they remind me of a rim you would more commonly see on 2f2f or something.

The beauty of it is that I am the only one that needs to "feel it". I virtually never go the common route, I much prefere my own way. There are thousands of Camaros/Firebirds out there with C5 wheels or ZR1's. I just march to the sound of a different drummer! Picts will follow by the weeks end.

Thats my attitude as well. I was actually looking as some SSR competitions not long ago but the rep said they didn't supply for my application. Very disappointing! I didn't want anything else but those! I can't wait to see those on there though .......those are very nice. Rick will get over it......lol

IDK how I feel about them, maybe they'll look good once they're on the car.
