Ethan, I have not had that problem. The only problem that I have had is that when I click on the "New Posts" button, it won't do anything. The bar at the bottom of the page will slowly climb, but unless I click on "New Posts" again, it can take up to about 20 minutes to go to the page.

I have it happen sometimes while at work, but with all the firewalls and network equipment it has to go through (as well as a slow arse connection) I believe it is on my end. I don't believe I've ever had the issue here at home.

Yeah I was having some problems last night. I would get the email notification for a response to a subscribed thread, the new post and then when I came to Z28.com to view it it wasn't there Some posts came up way later but some never actually posted

Percentage Problem
Dear Blown1993Z28,

Good show man. These are the words I was hoping someone would say . It doesn't matter whether your engine produces 275hp or 550hp at say 5500RPM, the frictional and inertial losses in the trans will be the same regardless of engine power output. The whole percentage thing is a rule of thumb derived from experiment.

There may also be other replies, but you will not receive any more notifications until you visit the forum again.

All the best,

Rob

I checked server logs. Timestamp is 2009-11-01 07:51:06. About 20 min lag and before that 2009-11-01 07:24:53. Lag is normal for forum subscriptions by a few mins or up to an hour. Email server is setup to send out email every 60 mins anyway if something doesnt go out right away so you will get it one way or another. Only reason it would not get to you is if you had an incorrect email address or the ISP is blocking me. If it came several hours late I have to investigate why and how generally its on the other end.
