Track Times Are In!!!!

Went to the track Wednesday night for test 'n tune. VERY please with the car. Run #1 was an easy pass shifted at 5000rpm for a shakedown run(first pass on rebuilt motor). All other runs shifted at 6000rpm, kind of felt like it quit pulling as hard at 6K so I shifted. Run #2 was best ET of the night. Run #4 was best MPH of the night. Runs #1,2 were with cutout closed. Runs #3,4 were with cutout open which I think lead to the higher MPH, i dunno though could have been the cooler air. It was about 85 degrees when track opened. It was about 70 for the last run. 22psi on ET streets. Need to drop pressure or do a longer burnout or something because theres too much wheelspin on runs 3,4, leading to slower 60ft times. Run #2 it dead hooked, no bogging which lead to best 60' of the night. Altitude at Milan dragway in Michigan is 670ft.

Run 1 Run 2 Run 3 Run 4
rt .0829 .0771 .1649 .1001
60' 1.8262 1.7938 1.8850 1.8849
330' 5.3409 5.2318 5.3192 5.3009
ET@594' 7.7073 7.5538 7.6368 7.6019
1/8ET 8.2361 8.0718 8.1520 8.1159
1/8mph 85.09 86.87 87.34 87.55
1000'ET 10.7388 10.5199 10.5860 10.5490
1000mph 97.54 99.35 100.00 99.99
1/4ET 12.8619 12.6098 12.6562 12.6107
1/4mph 105.68 107.72 108.71 109.52

Like I said extremely pleased with the car. Only about 300 miles on the rebuilt engine and I was told by my engine builder it will pick up some time and MPH until it gets a few more runs on it. 12.99 was my ultimate goal and I beat that and then some.

My ears are open to reviews/insight on my times. I don't know how much more I'm going to pick up after some runs but I am pushing for 12.49 and 110mph. Let me know what you guys think.

I hope to get some of the videos my dad got up on youtube in the next day or so, so you all can see/hear the car. If I figure out how to use the scanner I'll scan the timeslips and get them up on the forum also, but for tonight I just want to get the times up there.

Man, I bet feels good. And you wanna go faster too. Sounds like you got the bug.

Nice job. You should be able to drop those 60' times down the more you run also.

No spray. Stock 3.23's. I know I'll pick up some more with some 3.73's.

Nice times man congrats on everything. If you get the 60' times down, you will be running a few tenths faster for sure.

And talk to Shon at HerronPerformance to get some suspension components if you don't already have them. I know the LCA relocation brackets and LCA's did wonders for my car with just a catback and CAI.
