mmmm Powerjoke is tasty!

On my way home, somewhere in Iowa, I'm just cruising along MMOB in the 1996 Z-71 with the 5.7vortec that has pretty much full bolt ons and custom tune. I come up on this ford, and notice it has like a 10" exhaust, so I'm thinking this HAS to be a diesel. Im in the hammer lane, as I'm doing 80, and when i get next to his door, I notice he has a nice little Edge monitor. He starts "dry humping" me, and on about the 5th time he does as I'm trying to pass, I hammer down on the ole L31 and next thing I know, my speedometer is buried, and I'm running 4500+rpms in 3rd, so I have to be doing 120+, and he is a little ways behind.

Once I slow back down, he does a ricer flyby and tries to act "cool."

You know, I would have respected the guy for modding a diesel, but when he blatantly tried to suggest that he was faster than me, I had to show him he wasn't.

Made the drive through Iowa a little better.

Ya gotta feel for those guys... There was one down at "The Jim" last week with a couple of bad injectors. $300 a pop, plus the considerable effort to install them.

Those guys pay BIG money for chippin' those things. They'll go... but apparently, only so far.

Nice kill...
