Can't Find 'Em - Help Please

I am looking for the bump stops/jounce bumpers whatever they're called for the real suspension travel. These are the little rubber pieces that keep the tires from hitting the wheelwell opening during hard travel. I have looked @ every site I can think of. Maybe I'm not calling it the right thing? Anyone got a link or can tell me where to find them?

Thanks

Not quite. I sure appreciate you looking though. Those are some kind of spacers. I found those already. These go in the same place, but the ones I'm looking for are rubber.

Haven't really searched for things too much @ wrecker yards. For these though I really need new ones. If I pull old ones off they may be in just a bad a condition. Thanks though.

Anyone else with ideas?

you know, you can get a set of dragbags for about $70 and would give you much more versatility than the fixed bump stops.. plus you could use them to your advantage at the strip for better traction (youd have to play with the psi to find waht works best, but if you preload the passenger side more than the driver side, it keeps the weight transfer even between rear wheels during launch)

Thanks Mase. Thought that was the name, but not sure. Gonna try the dealer tomorrow.

Scott, thanks Man! I've been planning on doing drag bags for a while now. Just gotta get around to getting them. Depending on price of the bump stops will probably dictate which direction I go for now.

Well, I went to the dealership today - $31+/each. So, I won't be getting the bump stops. I'll just go with the drag bags.

Hopefully they'll be an easy install, but knowing Blue Thunder any "easy" job will take all day and include @ least one trip to AutoZone.

I know that feeling. i want to lower my rear a lil, but not sacrifice my tires at the same time. i think i need to flare my fenders a tad when I do the drag bag install.

Well got everything installed. I was right - took me a few hours (had to assemble the LCAs) and the passenger side front bolt took me FOREVER!!!!!

Also, had to go to AutoZone and Home Depot. Needed a grease gun fitting that would fit the LCAs. Finally bought a new gun and swapped the fitting. So now I've got 2 guns.

The bummer part is our roads are wet and it's rainy. So, can't really check her out as far as hooking yet. Seems to be more stout and I do not hit my fender lip anymore - YIPPEEEEE!!!!
