For a third-gen car, probably needed- on a 4th gen, not so important- you would get more benefit from sub frame connectors, and people will even debate that-
It won't hurt, and is an easy install- I mean, why not, but it wouldn't be my highest priority

ZO6 cam and springs- 332 RWHP and 346 RWTQ- not bad for almost stock. There goes the "stealth" theory.... "Older, not SSlower" Curmudgeon in Residence |

They've actually been proven through testing (some kind of stuff to test for flexing) that they don't really do anything. I took mine off when I swapped my shocks and didn't bother to put it back in. On a car with a true McPherson-style setup (like 3rd gens) in the front they really do help a lot because the shock towers handle a lot of pressure. However, the 4th gen F-cars run a double A-arm setup in the front which directs most of the force through the K-member. The exception would be a car that has been wrecked bad enough to compromise the strength of the front end, or a car with worn out shocks that are causing hard hits that the towers are not designed for. Other than that, its basically a visual mod on 4th gen F-cars and what people are usually feeling (and I stress the usually part) is a placebo effect. This is coming from a guy who at one time swore they really helped.
