New shocks

I'm looking to put new shocks in my 89 IROC. I'm thinking of just replacing them with the stock delco's. Does anyone here run aftermarket shocks with the stock ride hight? I would be interested to know what people thought of them compared to the stockers.

Thanks

Running aftermarket shocks with stock ride height is fine. If you run better than stock shocks (IE, nice Tokico/KYB, or Bilsteins or KONIs) you'll get better handling and possibly a smoother ride than you have with the stock 20 or so year old shocks. I want to install my KONIs on my friend's otherwise stock 91 Z28 to see what differences it makes. But that's alot of work for science's sake lol
