SLP Shocks / Stock Height

I know the SLP optional Bilstein package is usually combined with the 1" lowering springs. Is there any reason these shocks wouldnt work with stock height springs?

They will work, but after you hit a bump, you may bottom (or top) out the shock and it could break. The valving could be different and made for the lower springs, but you can always try them.

They are valved a little different, but they work great with stock to 1" lowering springs, it doesn't really matter.

I have bilstein heavy duty shocks w/stock springs. They work fine on me, turns on a dime and very rigid (you feel all the bumps).

Side note though, the weight of the car couldn't compress the shocks the way my stock shocks compressed so the car sits about an inch or two higher now.

I bet those springs are lower so it compensates for the lift you'd get.

I didnt expect that, I thought only the springs set the height
