The disc brake 12 bolt was refered to as RPO JL8 and are quite rare. Ricks First Generation Camaro parts (www.firstgen.com) advertises them but it is a call for price and availability item. The last time I checked, they sell for between $6500 and $10,000. If they are not listed, call the tech line and they can help you.

GOOD LUCK ON THIS ONE. THERE WAS ONLY ABOUT 200 CARS WITH THIS FACTORY OPTION. THERE ARE PLENTY OF COMPANIES WHO CAN SELL YOU A DRUM TO DISC CONVERSION FOR ALOT LESS CASH..

Yeah I'm with the above on this one. If you are looking for an orignal JL-8 rearend, then you may need to go through D&R Classics or Rick's 1st Gen for the unit. If you want a 12 bolt rear disc, you can get currie to make you one of their signature 12 bolt rear ends and get a JL-8 conversion kit from Master Power Brakes. You will still be in this rear end about $3,500 bucks though.
